Afghanistan Center for Peace and International Studies ACPIS has been Officially Inaugurated

On Saturday, November 23, 2024, the ACPIS was officially inaugurated in an online ceremony attended by a large number of members from research and academic institutions, members of the board of directors, the advisory board, the center's group of experts, and several special foreign diplomatic guests.
ACPIS is a research institution that aims to conduct studies on political, security, peace, and economic issues in the regions of Central Asia, including China, Russia, and the Middle East.
During the ceremony, Mr. Ahmad Tariq Noorzadeh, President and CEO of the Center; Mr. Sayed H Husinpur and Mr. Azimullah Warsaji, Vice president and members of the board of directors; and Mr. Naveed Moez, Mr. Abdul Majeed Danishyar, and Mr. Ahmad Shekib Mustaghni, members of the advisory board, analyzed the current situation in Afghanistan and the region, discussed the importance of such research institutions, and emphasized the role of institution-building in the political and social development of a society.
Ms. Greta Holdz, a retired U.S. Ambassador and President of the Amideast, attended as a special guest and spoke about non-profit organizations in the United States, their operations, and the significance of maintaining and strengthening their connections with other research institutions.
Currently, around 60 individuals, mainly former diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, have joined ACPIS. The center aims to operate by publishing research articles and conducting scientific studies.
ACPIS is an independent, non-profit institution that does not represent any political party or individuals within or outside Afghanistan.
